Visitors to the Bangkok Riverside Festival 3-5 February can win a special price three-day two-night Trekker Package to award-winning Cardamom Tented Camp in Cambodia at 40% off normal prices. The two vouchers are among the prizes in the festival’s main raffle draw.
All proceeds from the festival’s main raffle go to the elephant preservation work of the Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation, a founding partner of Cardamom Tented Camp.
The package is for two nights for two people sharing a comfortable safari tent (twin/double), inclusive of round-trip boat transfer and full-board meals.
The ecolodge has the slogan, “Your Stay Keeps the Forest Standing,” because profits from guest visits to the camp help pay for 10 forest rangers to patrol the surrounding 180 sq km forest concession.
The rangers keep the forest free from loggers, hunters and illegal land grab operators. The mixed lowland forest around the camp is now home to a wonderful variety of wildlife such as elephants, pangolins, gibbons, otters, hornbills, and more – all of which depend on the preservation of the habitat.
The winners of the special offer can travel anytime between now and 30 November this year and are eligible for 40% off the normal price of the Trekker Package.
